kbb London opens this Sunday, showcasing the latest and best products from leading international kitchen, bedroom and bathroom brands. This year the event is growing, expanding by 2000 square metres to include a further 50 exhibitors. There is also the launch of the first kbb London Innovation Awards recognising outstanding product innovation in the industry. Nominated companies include Teuco, Hansgrohe, Scholtes and Whirlpool.

Innovation is the theme for this year’s event, with feature areas throughout the event focusing on impressive technological developments and intelligent functionality across the industry. A selection of products nominated for the Innovation awards will be exhibited in the Innovation Centre. 
The seminar programme includes Design for life, a presentation of inspirational concepts from the industry’s established designers, with guest panellists including Simon Wilson, Benjamin Hubert, Amos Marchant and Martin Preen. There is also Dreamscape, a session exploring the idea of a perfect bedroom, with journalist Barbara Chandler, Alistair Hughes of Savoir Beds, Tina Norden of Conran and Partners and Ruth Wasserman of Ercol discussing designs and trends.
kbb London takes place at ExCel London from 15 – 17 May 2011
